Alley Theatre 2021-22 Season

The Alley’s season of 11 shows calls for a united, cohesive design across the season. These are a few of my faves from the 2022-2023 season, focused on minimal imagery, individual typography, and mixing patterns.

Alley All New

Refreshed branding for a play festival celebrating new works. This logo played with the concept of an idea being formed, constructed, and in progress, ever-changing, represented by simple shapes with rounded corners. Additionally, the style was slightly influenced by Bauhaus design in reflection of the Alley Theatre’s brutalist architecture.

Alley@Home

At the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Alley Theatre developed a campaign for video content to be viewed at home, ranging from scenes and short plays, to family activities and games, to poetry readings. This logo and the accompanying animation was developed with the Alley’s main logo in mind, with the play of color ways in red, black, and white.

Wildwood Academy

This logo for a education co-op in Texas was influenced by the philosophy of its founder to teach with gentility,
humbleness, and a focus on learning through nature and outside play.

Zelda Guide

A practice project for a fictional Zelda fan site. Doesn’t exist, but wouldn’t it be cool if it did?
